Daniel Tupou recorded his 300th NRL appearance for the Sydney Roosters iconic club against the Parramatta Eels neighbors last Saturday. The achievement was mentioned in multiple places throughout the league. NRL.com, News.com.au and the Roosters’ social media pages all pointed to it.
The Roosters sat out veterans to manage load for the match. Tedesco, Walker and Robson were omitted the veterans. Stand-in player Pezut took Moses’ spot in the lineup a promising youngster. The side also fielded younger talent to the mix. Tupou now sits among the club’s exclusive 300-game group in Roosters history.
