Saskatoon’s Nutana Legion will host its first Canada Day fireworks show. The display will launch from the new venue, on the west side of the South Saskatchewan River, after the city cancelled the usual riverbank launch. The change follows the closure of the TD Bridge for construction.
The fireworks will be set off at dusk. The move lets the city maintain the celebration on schedule while ensuring safety. Residents can gather in Rotary Park to view the display.
