The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit decisively denied ex President Donald Trump’s request on Wednesday to stop the removal of his name from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The panel in its ruling said the request will not be granted while his appeal proceeds.
The decision indicates the Kennedy Center will keep Trump’s name off its building for now. Earlier rulings also rejected Trump’s effort to have the name restored. The case stays pending in the appeals process.
