Latest News About Rogers takes full control of Toronto's major sports franchise

Rogers Communications completed its acquisition of the last 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.

The deal turns Rogers the exclusive owner of MLSE.

This move broadens Rogers' control over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and various teams in the company's sports portfolio.

Rogers earlier maintained a primary stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
