Work was due to start in summer 2024 and planned to run for about two years. The scheme is a joint effort by Vale of Glamorgan Council and Wales & West Housing, with land leased to WWH and funding from the Housing with Care Fund and Welsh Government's Social Housing Grant. Nearby developments include improvements to highway access and planned 32 affordable independent homes on adjoining land.
