More EU investment for growth and jobs in Port Talbot
EU funds of £3.5m will be invested in the first stage of a major development to create a new business hub in Port Talbot’s former docks.
www.gov.walesPort Talbot Parkway attended the new enclosed footbridge with ticket office and waiting areas plus surveillance and elevators to every platform as part of the broader regeneration tied to the Wales Station Improvement Scheme. The upgrade facilities for park-and-ride and additional car parking, along with improved facilities for cyclists, buses, and taxis. It is connected to wider Port Talbot regeneration efforts such as Harbourside development and town-centre upgrades. Funding from a mix of Welsh Government, Network Rail, and European/other funds, with Neath Port Talbot Council and local transport partners.
