Incident Report: Near-Collision in Nice
French investigators' preliminary findings show radar altimeter data indicating an altitude drop to 10 feet as a Nouvelair A320 passed over an easyJet A320 in Nice.
"A Nouvelair A320 approaching from Tunis came within feet of landing on top of an easyJet A320 lining up for departure on the runway in Nice."
ADS-B data confirms the Nouvelair flight passed at 50 feet above, while an Airbus A320-200 has a tail height of 38 feet 7 inches.
