Elder Gérald Caussé has been sustained as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Born in Bordeaux, France, Elder Caussé is 62 years old. Prior to this calling, he served for eleven years as the Presiding Bishop of the Church.
