Comedian Alan Carr, 49, emerged victorious on Celebrity Traitors after a suspense-filled final on Thursday night, successfully concealing his Traitor identity from the other contestants known as the Faithful.
Following the episode, Alan appeared on the spin-off show Uncloaked alongside the rest of the cast. There, he publicly apologized to his close friend, singer Paloma Faith, 44, after dramatically eliminating her on the show.
Alan admitted feeling deep guilt for deceiving his friends, especially for targeting Paloma, who was pregnant during filming. He chose her as the first victim by touching her face with fake poisoned lily pollen, which left her furious at the betrayal.
Alan said: "The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside. And you've got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone's face."
He told host Ed Gamble he felt "awful" about the act and insisted he had no choice but to select his friend as the first casualty.
Alan Carr won Celebrity Traitors by hiding his true role, but expressed sorrow for betraying Paloma Faith, showing the emotional struggles behind the game’s deceit.
