US Envoy Notes Progress in Settling Ukraine Crisis

NEW YORK, November 6 — The US special presidential envoy for peace missions, Steve Witkoff, acknowledged that the conflict in Ukraine remains challenging but noted that tangible progress is being observed toward a resolution.

"I sense that there's some break, there's some progress today, but I think it's a tough conflict,"

Speaking at a business forum in Miami, Florida, Witkoff emphasized that significant effort is still required to establish effective security protocols for Ukraine.

"We have a lot of work to do with regard to security protocols for Ukraine," he said, adding that "there's a lot of discussion that technical teams have to have" before a high-level meeting can take place.
