Jessica Simpson portrayed a botched plastic surgery patient in Ryan Murphy’s series All’s Fair. She revealed how long the extensive prosthetics process took to create her character LeAnn’s flawed look.
In a November 5 Instagram post, Jessica said the transformation required “an incredible village” and took six hours in prosthetics to complete. Her appearance featured swollen cheeks, a nose piece, sunken eyes, and oversized lips, perfectly capturing the essence of bad Botox.
Despite the dramatic alteration, Jessica emphasized her excitement about acting in the role, something she hadn’t been given a chance to do before. She shared,
“No one has ever given me the chance to do something like this before, and I loved it. I hope you all see Lee-Ann’s heart—and her strength—as much as I felt it.”
She also expressed appreciation for Ryan Murphy, director Anthony Hemingway, and executive producers Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, saying,
“You allowed me to disappear into a character with real depth and emotion.”
Jessica, who shares three children—Maxi (13), Ace (12), and Birdie (6)—with her ex Eric Johnson, admitted she was impressed by her ability to truly embody the character ahead of the Hulu series release.
Jessica Simpson’s six-hour prosthetics transformation for All’s Fair showcased her commitment to acting, highlighting her gratitude for the opportunity to portray a complex character with depth and emotion.
