Lorraine Kelly to celebrate another year of fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal

On Friday, STV will broadcast a special live programme from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow to honour the ongoing work of the STV Children’s Appeal. The show will highlight three impactful projects supported by the charity during 2025.

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly, a long-time trustee of the Appeal since its beginning, will host the event. She will meet participants and supporters whose efforts and stories have shaped another successful year of fundraising.

Before the broadcast, Kelly was photographed wearing a kilt and scarf in a tartan design created by Paisley-based family firm Houston Kiltmakers. The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan combines pink, yellow, and blue — the charity’s signature colours — and was designed earlier in the year to raise donations for the cause.

“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
