North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces This Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will assemble outside The Baths Hall starting at 10:10 AM, with the procession beginning at 10:25 AM.
- Participants can gather for tea and coffee inside the venue from 9:30 AM or meet outside from 10:00 AM.
- The parade comprises serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups.
- It will proceed along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside the North Lincolnshire Museum.
- The service will start at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance and a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM, followed by wreath laying.
- The parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens after the service.
- Those attending are invited to stay at The Baths Hall afterward for refreshments and reflection.
