Following the announcement of his fourth studio album, Piss In The Wind, Joji has released his second single this week, "Past Won’t Leave My Bed." The track explores the lingering pain of a past relationship, capturing the struggle to move on.
The song starts with a simple piano melody that gradually grows into a lush, expansive arrangement. The music video, directed by Ethan Eng, depicts a hitchhiking nomad on a restless road trip across North America.
Since his breakthrough in 2017, Joji has earned acclaim with three studio albums: BALLADS 1 (2018), Nectar (2020), and SMITHEREENS (2022). His upcoming album, Piss In The Wind, will be released on February 6, 2026, via Palace Creek and is now available for pre-order.
"Past Won’t Leave My Bed" captures the persistent ache of being unable to let go as he re-examines a past relationship.
