Teenager Arrested After City Building Fire
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with a building fire in Leicestershire.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire in Colby Drive, Thurmaston, at around 3:30pm on Sunday, October 12.
- Road closures were in place for several hours as emergency services dealt with the blaze.
- No-one was inside the property at the time and no injuries were reported.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said the boy was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
He remains in police custody as enquiries into the incident are continuing.
