After a longer wait than expected, kicker Harrison Mevis has returned to the NFL by signing with the Los Angeles Rams practice squad. This move adds valuable depth to the Rams' specialist group.

Mevis' Journey from USFL to NFL

Known as "The Thiccer Kicker," Harrison Mevis followed the path of several specialists moving from spring football leagues back to the NFL. He had an impressive season with the Birmingham Stallions, making 20 of 21 field goal attempts as the Stallions secured a 7-3 record and won the USFL Conference during the regular season.
