Hayley Williams joined Rico Nasty on stage during her concert at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last night. The Paramore lead singer appeared as a surprise guest for a live rendition of Rico Nasty’s 2020 hit “Smack a Bitch,” from her debut album Nightmare Vacation.
Both artists shared vocals and danced energetically before embracing as the crowd cheered loudly. Rico Nasty addressed the audience, saying,
“You guys had no idea!”
before Williams waved goodbye. This event marked the final date of Rico Nasty’s Lethal North American tour, which begun in September at Riot Fest. The tour supported her latest album, Lethal, released in May under Fueled by Ramen, her third full-length project overall.
Rico Nasty and Hayley Williams first performed together in 2023 when Rico appeared at Paramore’s headlining show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. During that performance, Rico joined the band for their popular single “Misery Business.”
Reflecting on the experience, Rico told Billboard,
“It was an amazing experience. And it felt like, I don’t know, my inner child really jumped out. I hadn’t seen her in a while—neither on stage nor backstage with the team—so I was like, ‘Wow, this feels nice.’ Then I got to talk to Hayley.”
