The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 cricket tournament will begin on November 7, featuring 12 teams competing in a six-player-a-side format. The event is known for its fast-paced matches and has a rich history dating back to the 1990s.
Created to give Hong Kong’s cricketers and fans the chance to see international stars despite Hong Kong’s status as an ICC Associate Member, the Hong Kong Sixes started in 1993. It ran annually until 1997, returned from 2001 to 2012, briefly played again in 2017, and was relaunched in 2024.
All matches will take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong.
Dinesh Karthik will captain India, who will miss Ravichandran Ashwin due to injury.
