Harvard football has been impressive this season, securing victories in all seven games by margins of at least three touchdowns. Their dominant performance in the Ivy League earned the Crimson the No. 9 position in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25, marking the highest ranking in program history.
In addition to their Stats Perform ranking, Harvard also placed 13th in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll, the team’s best showing in that poll since at least 2011. These rankings rose following a decisive 31-10 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday, improving Harvard's record to a perfect 7-0.
The Crimson remain the only undefeated team in the Ivy League, while rivals Yale and Penn both hold 5-2 records. Harvard has yet to face either rival this season; Penn is scheduled to visit on November 15, ahead of the 141st edition of “The Game” against Yale in New Haven later that month.
This ranking carries added significance as Ivy League teams are eligible for the FCS playoffs this season for the first time. Harvard aims to extend their winning streak to eight games in an upcoming road match against Columbia on Friday night.
