Gavin and Stacey Star to Switch on Hay-on-Wye Christmas Lights

Joanna Page, recognized for her role as Stacey Shipman in the popular BBC series Gavin and Stacey, will attend the Hay-on-Wye Winter Weekend on Friday, November 28.

The event, featuring the Christmas lights switch-on, will be held in Memorial Square from 5pm to 7pm. Activities will include carol singing, food stalls, mulled wine, and various entertainment options.

Born in Swansea, Joanna Page attended her local comprehensive school before graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 1998. She spent a decade performing in stage productions with the Royal National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company. Her film roles include appearances in Love Actually.

At the festival, Page will also launch her memoir Lush! My Story – From Swansea to Stacey and Everything in Between.
