Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson has spoken about his slow start to the 2025-26 season and his feelings after one month into the campaign.
All summer, Pettersson promised to improve, saying he was “out for revenge” following a disappointing 45-point total last year, which was the second-lowest in his NHL career.
Although Pettersson has recorded ten points so far this season, his overall performance has been underwhelming. Notably, he shoots the puck less frequently than earlier in his career, which raises some concerns.
“I am focused on getting better and doing whatever it takes for my team to get the two points night in, night out.”
