West Coast Eagles Secure Four-Year Sponsorship with Allianz Australia
The West Coast Eagles have entered a four-year agreement with Allianz Australia, becoming a Platinum Partner to support the club’s AFL, AFLW, and Wheelchair football teams. This deal marks Allianz’s first major sporting partnership in Western Australia and reinforces its nationwide commitment to community programs.
Partnership Alignment and Benefits
West Coast Eagles CEO Don Pyke emphasized the alignment between the club and Allianz’s values, particularly their shared focus on community. He stated:
“Allianz Australia has a proven track record of resilience and performance, and an outstanding community focus which aligns with our club’s values and identity.”
Pyke highlighted that Allianz’s backing will strengthen the Eagles’ programs across all football categories and support wider community efforts.
Branding and Sponsorship Details
- Allianz branding will feature on the neckline of the AFL guernseys, training apparel, media backdrops, and in-game signage at Optus Stadium.
- From 2026, Allianz will be the shorts partner for the AFLW team and a major partner for the Wheelchair football team.
Community Initiative Launch
The partnership will kick off with a joint campaign supporting Foodbank WA’s Give a Feed appeal, which supplies Christmas food hampers to families in need across Western Australia.
- Allianz will sponsor 1,000 food hampers.
- Eagles players and staff will volunteer to help deliver the hampers before Christmas.
