On Monday, 10 November 2025, Jetstar announced its largest expansion yet at Melbourne Avalon Airport, introducing new international flights to Bali, resuming services to Adelaide, and increasing flights to Brisbane.
This expansion will add more than 330,000 low-fare seats annually through Melbourne's secondary airport. It aims to provide local travelers with greater access to new destinations while attracting tourists to boost Victoria's economy.
Jetstar's new Bali service will be the airline's first-ever international route from Melbourne Avalon, marking a milestone for the airport's largest carrier.
To celebrate, Jetstar launched a 48-hour sale starting midday on 10 November, offering domestic fares from $29 and flights to Bali from $199.
This new route offers a convenient direct flight option for passengers in Melbourne, Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Bellarine Peninsula to experience Bali's beaches, culture, and hospitality.
Jetstar’s major expansion at Melbourne Avalon Airport includes launching its inaugural international Bali route, boosting connectivity while supporting regional economic growth.
