Jetstar will begin operating Airbus A321LR flights connecting Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) to Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) with a stopover at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). This new service starts on March 25, 2026, and is the first international route from this regional Queensland airport.
This marks Jetstar’s first direct connection between Sunshine Coast and Bali, and its tenth direct route from Australia to the popular Indonesian destination. It follows the airline’s introduction of Gold Coast-Bali flights earlier this year, becoming the fourth Bali service from Queensland.
The flight schedule is coordinated with Jetstar’s existing Bali-Singapore services, enabling same-day travel from Sunshine Coast to Singapore with a stopover in Bali. This route also opens a new gateway for travelers from Singapore and Southeast Asia to access the Sunshine Coast region.
Jetstar launched a 48-hour promotional sale with one-way fares from Sunshine Coast to Bali starting at AU$199 (USD $130).
This new route enhances affordable travel options between Queensland and Indonesia, expanding Jetstar’s network in the Asia-Pacific region.
Author’s summary: Jetstar’s new Sunshine Coast-Bali flights via Singapore offer affordable, convenient connections and mark a milestone in Queensland’s regional international air services.
