Free agent center Precious Achiuwa has agreed to a contract with the Sacramento Kings, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. The Kings plan to waive second-year center Isaac Jones to free up a roster spot for Achiuwa.
Achiuwa, a 2020 first-round draft pick, enters his sixth NBA season. He was originally selected 20th overall by the Miami Heat and was waived by them before the 2025–26 season.
Over five NBA seasons, Achiuwa has played 320 regular-season games with the Heat, Raptors, and Knicks. He averages 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in 20 minutes per game.
Last season, Achiuwa appeared in 66 games for the New York Knicks, including 10 starts, averaging 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
The Kings are expected to waive Isaac Jones, 25, who is in his second season with Sacramento and has averaged 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds in 5.7 minutes per game.
Earlier reports from Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews indicated several EuroLeague teams had shown interest in the 26-year-old Achiuwa.
