Clare Smyth Announces Closure of Oncore

Chef Clare Smyth has revealed that her Sydney restaurant Oncore will close early next year. The venue, which opened in 2021, marks Smyth’s second restaurant and her first international location.

“After four incredible years, we announce that Oncore by Clare Smyth will close its doors at Crown Sydney,” said a recent Instagram post from Oncore.

The post highlighted pride in the team’s commitment and outstanding service, stating:

“Together with @ChefClareSmyth, we have created a dining experience that sets a benchmark for excellence, and we are delighted to have shared that with so many wonderful guests.”

The restaurant will accept its final reservations until 28 February 2026.
