University of Cambridge Submits Updated Eddington Masterplan
The University of Cambridge has submitted an outline plan for the future phases of the Eddington development, designed by Hawkins Brown.
The plan proposes up to 3,800 additional homes and 50ha of open space, alongside new community facilities and active travel routes.
- Up to 50% of the homes will be affordable, prioritised for University key workers.
- The remaining homes will be sold on the open market.
The masterplan includes a range of homes, from townhouses and maisonettes to apartment blocks, as well as parks, play areas, and community gardens.
The submitted masterplan includes around 50ha of open space.
