Highway 4 Reopens After Crash
A car crash had closed Highway 4 between Parksville and Port Alberni since 1:30 p.m.
The highway has now reopened. However, RCMP and BC EHS have not provided information on the cause of the crash or the status of those involved.
DriveBC had not provided an estimated time for the road to reopen, with an update expected at 7 p.m. No alternative route was posted.
Some drivers reported being turned around due to the expected length of the closure.
