Ontario, British Columbia, Nunavut, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories have announced agreements to boost internal trade, improve labour mobility, and remove barriers to doing business together.
According to Premier Doug Ford, these agreements will help Canada unlock about $200 billion in economic potential.
The agreements were announced during a meeting of Canada's premiers in Huntsville, Ont., where they discussed trade, U.S. tariff threats, and other issues.
Two separate memorandums of understanding were signed: one between Ontario and B.C., and another between Ontario and the three territories.
