Boeing Unveils CxR Tiltrotor Drone Concept
Boeing has revealed its CxR unmanned tiltrotor concept, a modular drone designed to complement the US Army's Apache and Chinook helicopters.
The CxR (Collaborative Transformational Rotorcraft) concept aims to create a new class of unmanned tiltrotor aircraft for attack, reconnaissance, and logistics roles alongside crewed platforms.
According to Boeing engineers, the aircraft is meant to be a high-speed, unmanned tiltrotor able to perform reconnaissance, strike, and transport missions.
The concept was first revealed at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2025 Annual Meeting and Exposition.
