In Potsdam, Germany, an old tradition has found new life as people flock to forests to collect mushrooms.

Wolfgang Bivour, a renowned fungi connoisseur, carefully collected various species of mushrooms, including brown-capped porcini, bay boletes, slimy purple brittlegills, and honey-colored armillaria, as well as the lethal green death caps.

According to Bivour, the different species were collected in an oak and beech forest on the outskirts of Potsdam in eastern Germany.
