Windows 10 has reached its End of Life on October 14, 2025, but users can extend its lifespan through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.
The ESU program allows users to continue receiving updates for a fee, with options including a $30 subscription for those who want to use Windows 10 with a local account.
- Users in the EU can enroll in the ESU program for free with a Microsoft account.
- Users outside the EU need to sync their Settings to OneDrive in addition to having a Microsoft account.
- In the US, users can also use 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points to sign up for the ESU program.
Users can extend Windows 10 support by clicking “Enroll now” on the Windows Update page.
