Foxconn Denies Investment Claim in Tamil Nadu
Taiwanese semiconductor giant Foxconn has denied claims of committing Rs 15,000 crore of additional investment in Tamil Nadu.
A day earlier, Tamil Nadu Industries Minister TRB Rajaa claimed on social media platform X that Foxconn has committed an investment of Rs 15,000 crore, leading to 14,000 high-value jobs.
No new investments were discussed
According to a statement issued to the Times of India, Foxconn's India representative Robert Wu met with Chief Minister MK Stalin and other officials, but no new investments were discussed.
