A first-of-its-kind recovery facility is coming to Guilford County, which leaders believe could be a game-changer for people battling addiction and homelessness.
The Reverend Prince Edward Graves Recovery and Treatment Center will open on Lees Chapel Road, in a former church building. Guilford County Commissioner Skip Alston conceived the idea in 2022 during the annual Point-In-Time homeless count.
The building will feature short and long-term residential rooms, group meeting areas, staff offices, and community connection spaces.
The facility could be a game-changer for people battling addiction and homelessness.
