Heavy flooding hit Western Colorado, but the rain is now clearing.

Rain poured across the region in the early morning hours, with widespread moisture from midnight to sunrise, matching the 60% chance of precipitation in the forecast. Drizzles are expected this morning but will fade by the end of the day.

The remnants of the storms associated with Tropical Depression Raymond are dissipating. Since Friday, the Grand Junction area has seen 2.29 inches of rain, and since the start of the month, 2.33 inches, exceeding the average October precipitation of 0.40 inches.

The National Weather Service has renewed a Flood Watch for Southwestern Colorado.
