Germany Pledges Military Aid to Ukraine
Germany has pledged over $2 billion in military aid to Ukraine, as Kyiv estimates its 2026 defense needs at $12 billion.
According to Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, Germany will buy $500 million worth of U.S. weapons for Ukraine under a new program.
- Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, and Sweden will also participate in the funding initiative.
- The aid package includes air defense systems, Patriot missile interceptors, radar systems, and precision-guided artillery, rockets, and ammunition.
