Three companies have won contracts worth up to £2.9bn to supply key non-nuclear infrastructure works for the UK's Sellafield site.
The nine-year framework, extendable to 2040, will modernise vital utilities, civil works, and electrical systems supporting nuclear decommissioning.
will be part of the long-term Infrastructure Delivery Partnership (IDP), delivering projects and tasks to support essential services at Sellafield.
The IDP replaces the existing Infrastructure Strategic Alliance, and will deliver projects to support essential services such as electricity distribution, water, road and rail networks, bridges, foundations and security installations.
The contracts will be for an initial nine years with an option for a further six years, through to 2040.
