Abu Dhabi Partners with Archireef to Restore Coral Reefs Using 3D Printing
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a partnership with Archireef, a climate technology company, to utilize 3D printing technology in restoring coral reefs.
The UAE is home to the largest coral reef in the region, the Ras Ghanadah protected area, spanning nearly 55 square kilometers with 7.1 square kilometers of coral.
The city government has signed a memorandum of understanding with Archireef to restore coral reefs and enhance coastal biodiversity using additive manufacturing.
