Loblaw North York Store to be Replaced by T&T in 2026
The Loblaw store at the Empress Market location in North York, Ont., will close on October 26. The space, located at 5095 Yonge St., will be replaced by a T&T store in 2026.
We believe that a T&T Supermarket will be a better fit for the Empress Market community, offering a broader range of Asian products and services that cater to the local community.
A Loblaw spokesperson confirmed the change, which will bring a new shopping experience to the area. T&T Supermarket, a Canadian Asian supermarket chain, was acquired by Loblaw in July 2009.
