China's Greener Steelmakers Expand Overseas
Domestic decarbonisation initiatives are gradually spreading to foreign ventures.
Jinnan has partnered with Brazil's Vale to invest over $600 million in an iron-ore concentration plant in Oman.
- The plant will start operations in 2027.
- It will supply 12.6 million tonnes of high-grade concentrate annually.
