Teams from around the Columbia Basin participated in two major cross country events: the Max Jensen Invitational and the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational.
The Moses Lake Mavericks' head coach, Larry Dagnon, led the team at the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational, where both the boys and girls varsity teams finished ninth.
Notable performances included Alejandro Mendoza from the Huskies, who finished the Max Jensen Invitational with a time of 17:09.48, and Lane Christensen from the Mavs, who finished the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational with a time of 16:38.3.
