Colorado clerks are trying to calm fears of a 'MAGA takeover' of the state's election equipment supplier after the sudden sale of Dominion Voting Systems to a former Republican election official.
The new company, Liberty Vote, has taken over the Denver-based Dominion Voting Systems, catching many county clerks off guard. Unaffiliated clerk Tiffany Lee from La Plata County stated,
“There was no notification to us that this was even a conversation at their level,”and expressed concern over the lack of direct information from Dominion or Liberty Vote.
