Kap's Café Shooting: Third Incident in Three Months
A Surrey café owned by Bollywood star Kapil Sharma was targeted by shooters for the third time in just over three months.
The café, located in the 8400-block 120 Street in Newton, was shot at just before 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to Surrey police. Several bullet holes were found in the building's facade.
Like the previous two incidents, employees were on the premises at the time of the shooting. Surrey Police Service spokesman Ian MacDonald confirmed,
“It is the third regrettable incident at this location”.
The previous two shootings at Kap's Café have been linked to extortion.
