Missing Adult Found in Wooded Area
Franklin County officials provided an update on a missing adult, Charles Shane Pritchard, who was the subject of a missing adult alert posted on Tuesday.
On Wednesday at approximately 4:00 p.m., Pritchard was located in a wooded area off of Black Rock Road. He was immediately attended to by emergency personnel and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
While Pritchard was in critical condition when located, we are grateful that he was found and able to receive prompt medical care. There is no suspicion of foul play.
The incident highlights the importance of teamwork and strong interagency collaboration, according to officials. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation for the unified response and professionalism displayed by all those involved.
