29er World Championships 2026 Entry Allocation
The 29er Class has introduced an entry allocation system for the 2026 World Championships in Kiel to ensure fair participation.
Historically, there were no entry restrictions for the World or European Championships, making this decision significant.
- Each nation will secure a minimum of three entries.
- Countries that did not participate in 2025 may apply for up to three entries in 2026.
- The host nation will receive 10 entries, alongside their allocated number.
- The 2025 World Champions will also gain individual entries, which are not transferable.
The allocation method will take the higher number of entries from either the 2025 World or European Championships for each country.
