Trans Americas Fiber System (TAFS) has selected Ciena's optical transport systems to deploy in its new subsea network, connecting Central America and the Caribbean to the US.
- Ciena's GeoMesh Extreme and 6500 Reconfigurable Line System will be used in the 7,200km TAM-1 subsea cable system.
