The City of Warsaw's Parks and Recreation Department has received a matching grant for a proposed new skate park.
The grant, valued at $40,000, was awarded by the Dekko Foundation and will go towards the project, aiming to benefit the community.
Parks Superintendent Larry Plummer stated that the grant will go toward the project and will hopefully be favorable toward the community.
In addition to the Dekko Foundation Grant, the board is also pursuing other grants, including those from the K21 Foundation and the AWS Foundation.
