Emma Stone’s Apocalyptic Showdown in “Bugonia”
Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos have collaborated on several films, including “The Favourite” (2018), “Bleat” (2022), and “Poor Things” (2023).
Their latest collaboration, “Bugonia”, is ripe with eco-paranoia and features Stone and Jesse Plemons in a physical and psychological showdown.
Stone played a lusty widow who miraculously fucked her dead husband back to life in “Bleat” (2022), and incarnated the brain of a child, the body of a woman, and the skills of a mad surgeon in “Poor Things” (2023).
