Marco Bezzecchi on Struggling in Malaysia MotoGP Friday
Aprilia MotoGP rider Marco Bezzecchi says he will have to "use Q1 as an advantage" after struggling to 15th in practice at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Bezzecchi, who is MotoGP's in-form rider, failed to achieve a direct Q2 spot and will join a volatile Q1 group that includes Pecco Bagnaia, Luca Marini, Fermin Aldeguer, and Raul Fernandez.
"It was a tough first day here,"
he said. Bezzecchi noted that Aprilia "made a step" from FP1 to practice, but it "was not big enough" to close in on the leaders.
