Update: Law Enforcement Activity In Tuolumne
The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office remains on the scene of a standoff in the city this morning, but the suspect is in custody.
Law enforcement activity in Tuolumne where a man was reportedly taken into custody without incident started about 3 a.m. when sheriff’s deputies were called to an apparent domestic violence incident.
The event developed as follows:
- around 5:15 a.m., sheriff’s officers announced on social media that portions of Gardner Avenue and Carter, Madone, and Rozier streets were temporarily blocked due to the incident.
- around 7:45 a.m., Sheriff’s authorities announced that the individual had given himself up without incident at around 5:30 a.m.
- all road restrictions had been lifted.
